Example: Booking a Dental Consultation in Shenzhen
This example shows why dental inquiries often need clear goals and sometimes imaging before a provider can estimate cost.
The patient separates cleaning, pain assessment, crown, implant, orthodontic consultation, and second opinion. Each goal points to different providers, appointment length, imaging needs, and pricing questions.
For implants, crowns, root canal, orthodontics, or complex pain, the provider may request X-ray or CBCT before giving a meaningful estimate. A price before examination may be only a rough range.
The patient asks whether consultation, imaging, anesthesia, temporary work, final material, surgery stage, abutment, crown, follow-up visits, and medication are included or separate.
Before visiting, the patient brings passport, prior dental records if available, payment method, allergy information, and a written summary of the goal. If continuing care elsewhere, the patient asks for X-rays and treatment notes.
